And while we’re on the subject of putting women “in their place,” apparently Dallas Independent School District thinks that a woman’s place is not in the cockpit of an airplane, and is taking some pains to make them aware of it young.
I know this story is a little old, but there’s only so much stupid I can deal with in any one day.

I have to admit that I was reading kidlet a book of nursery rhymes today and it took me a minute to see that they had switched the rhymes for “What are little boys/girls made of?” I mean, granted the whole separation thing in general is pretty silly, but it was cute to read that little girls are made of frogs and snails and puppy dog tails. Especially since the girls were chilling in a swamp.
That’s completely awesome! If folks are going to separate it, I am all for mixing it up. *g*
